Job Offer: Dental Assistant – Full-Time (Netherlands)

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic, modern and private clinics in the Netherlands. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of €3,000 gross per month. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong interest in working in a modern, patient-centered dental practice. Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during treatments and procedures.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments.
Manage patient records and assist with administrative tasks.
Take dental X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans.
Ensure the clinic meets health and safety standards.
Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a dental assistant or dental hygienist is required.
Strong communication skills in English (Dutch language course will be provided)
Team player with a caring, professional attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to move to the Netherlands for at least two years
Commitment fee for the language course of €1.000, you can pay in instalments.

Periodontic Assistants

A periodontic assistant in the Netherlands supports dentists in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of gum diseases (periodontal diseases). Here are the primary tasks:

Assisting During Procedures: The assistant helps the periodontist during treatments such as scaling, root planing, gum surgeries, and placing dental implants. This includes preparing instruments, providing tools, and managing suction.
Patient Education: Explaining oral hygiene techniques to patients, especially those with gum disease. This includes teaching proper brushing, flossing, and the use of antimicrobial mouthwashes.

Prevention assistants

A prevention assistant in the Netherlands focuses on promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases. Key tasks include:

Patient Education: Teaching patients about proper oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and the importance of regular check-ups. Prevention assistants may also educate patients about diet and its impact on oral health.
Preventive Treatments: Applying fluoride treatments to strengthen tooth enamel and prevent decay. They may also apply dental sealants to protect teeth from cavities, particularly in children and adolescents.
Cleaning and Polishing: Performing basic dental cleaning procedures such as scaling (removal of plaque and tartar) and polishing to maintain oral hygiene and prevent gum disease.
Plaque Disclosing: Using disclosing agents to show patients where plaque buildup occurs and helping them improve their brushing techniques.
Screening and Risk Assessment: Assisting in identifying early signs of dental issues, such as cavities or gum disease, and documenting patient progress.
Scheduling and Follow-ups: Organizing appointments for preventive treatments, ensuring timely follow-up care, and reminding patients of their next visit.
Collaboration with the Dental Team: Working closely with dentists and hygienists to create tailored prevention plans and assist during appointments as needed.
